The Globe Pub

The Globe Pub WebsiteThe Globe Pub approached us back in 2008, offering us a place to call home… along with discounted prices and a partnership with former LFC sponsors, Carlsberg. We meet in the back room of The Globe, which, on Liverpool matchdays, is unofficially reserved for Reds.

However, it wasn’t just those benefits that drew us to The Globe. The pub was voted “The Best Soccer Bar” in the US in ‘07 and ‘08. Everything about the place just reads football. From the friendly staff (aside from Evertonian in charge, Jamie) to the walls and walls of football memorabilia, moving to The Globe was an easy decision to make.

The front room gets a decent crowd for Spurs, Arsenal and, sadly, United. The pub is also home to the US Everton Supporter’s Club… though that’s not saying much. All of this builds of for an incredible experience on matchdays, so much so that a book has been published about the pub!

The Globe Pub is located at 1934 W. Irving Park Rd. There is parking on the street, metered until 9pm Monday through Saturday; free parking is available on North Damen Avenue.

You can also arrive at The Globe Pub via the ‘el’ train by taking the Brown Line towards Kimball and exiting at Irving Park Station. When you exit the station turn right (west) and it is two blocks down on the north side of the street.
